The apartments are dated and not worth the cost of rent. The flooring, appliances and lack of central air conditioning make the units less than luxurious.
In my opinion the remodeled hallways look far better than the units themselves.
I love seniors however, the senior residence could be more thoughtful to not block the stairways and main entrance to the building.
They often stand and or park wheelchairs in front of the staircase while they chat with friends and neighbors.
Back to the quality of the buildings. With all the construction going on both day and night in coming tenants should be offered a reduced rent until upgrades are completed.
Contractors drilling, hammering and talking starts anywhere from 7:00am
a d continues till about to 11:pm including weekends, give or take a few minutes more or less. This includes both inside and outside the building.
I work a flexible shift, therefore the noise interupts my sleeping and I get up and leave just to get some peace and quiet.
I was rented a unit that had leaking in the bathroom ceiling. I noticed it the first time I used the shower. I had to make a written request twice before maintenance was sent to address this issue.
The price I'm paying for what I'm getting in return is not a good value by any stretch of the imagination...
I am looking forward to moving. I moved in 2 months ago and am not satisfied.
The best thing about these apartments is the location. I'm close to grocers, restaurants and a movie theatre. Other than that not much good to be said in my opinion.
